25th Birthday

Hello.

Today I wanted to share with you a few snaps

of my 25th birthday celebration.

Typically I like to buy a nice dress or something fun to wear 

on my birthday because { hello } its your birthday :) But this year

for some reason I wanted to stay casual. I decided to wear this 

simple yet girly black shirt with lace trim from Marshalls. To add

some color I paired it with gold & turquoise jewelery. I love how you

can add any colorful statement necklace to a black shirt and 

completely change the look. 

My parents, boyfriend & I all went out to eat at one of my 

favorite Mexican restaurants where there were margs and endless 

queso dip. We ended the evening with delicious strawberry ice cream 

cake. I added gold glitter to the "2" + "5" candles for something different.

 Its an adorable and inexpensive touch for a special birthday.

A Gorgeous Maxi

Hi lovelies. 

Today I want to share with you this absolute gorgoues

maxi dress. The best part about this maxi is I actually 

purchased it from Meijer { crazy, I know } it totally looks like 

a maxi from a fab boutique but nope, just Meijer grocery store. 

I love the color scheme which is nice for summer and looks great

with a dark tan. For accessories, I paired the maxi with turquoise

jewelry. I love white + turquoise together for summer time, the 

perfect combo. This may be my favorite maxi ever!

Fit & Flare Summer Dress

Hi beauties!

Today I want to share with you this gorgeous fit & flare dress

from Kohls. The brand is MILLY for DesigNation which I scored

for $25 { originally $68--holler } I absolutely love how girly 

the dress looks and feels. The colors on the dress are elegnant yet 

fun and go great with neon accessories :-) This dress would be 

perfect to wear for a summer wedding or bridal shower.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July y'all!

Today I wanted to share with you this adorable

 4th of July look I put together. 

First off, can we please take a moment to acknowledge 

these perfect 4th of July themed shorts?!?! I love the light 

denim washed look to them with the stars plus how 

adorable are the stripes on the back pockets? So cute!

To add a patriotic look I selected this cute 

    headband and accented with silver jewelry.   

I hope everyone has a safe 4th of July!

I'm spending it with my boyfriend & 

then watching some fireworks.

Firework Cupcakes

Hi everyone!

If you haven't guessed already, I love making cupcakes....

especially themed ones! Today I am sharing with you

 some 4th of July themed cupcakes. Baking these were so much 

fun to make because they have pop rocks AND cotton candy in them. 

I thought it would be fun to add pop rocks to the icing, since 

fireworks "pop" & "boom." The cotton candy is just another fun

item to add. Below are some photos I snapped along the way, enjoy!
