Memorial Day Recap

Hi friends!

Wanted to share with y'all my Memorial Day weekend

recap. It was so nice to have a 3 day weekend--much deserved! 

The weekend was spent catching up with one of my closest

gal pals (which included margs + shopping), errands, relaxing,

good food, & spending Memorial Day with my parents for a cookout!

I spotted this blue gingham dress at Old Navy awhile ago 

and knew it was a must staple piece for my closet. Its perfect to 

wear on those warm Summer days and works great for 

Memorial Day + 4th of July festivities. I can't get enough!

April Showers, Bring May Floral Print

Hello sun shines! 

Can I take a moment to say I am SO happy the weather 

here in Ohio is finally warming up. Woohoo! 

With the weather warming up, it has me in the mood
to bust out allll the floral prints. I adore this floral kimono, 
its super lightweight and very girly. I love that you can
style it with a solid color dress or pair it with a casual tee
& jeans. For today's look I paired it with a solid black
dress and dressed it up with these gorgeous sandals
and jewelry. I love this girly look, perfect for 
transitioning from Spring to Summer.

 

The month is May is going to be a busy
month for me with work travel back to back, Mother's
Day celebration, birthday festivities, and more! 
Trying to enjoy it as much as I can <3

Newest Addition

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with you the Sterling's

newest additional, a new kitty named Smokey! 

As you know, we currently have an almost 2 year old cat 

named Ginger. She's still fluffy and naughty as ever but I wanted 

her to have a friend. After begging my husband and him

generously {I may be lying} allowing me to get another kitty friend,

 the search was on! I really wanted a grey kitty so I searched near 

and far until one day my Mother-in-law tagged me in a FB post 

about a grey litter up for adoption. Didn't take me long to fill out 

an application, get approval, and then pick him up. We are currently 

fostering to adopt. Once he's old enough to be fixed,  we'll sign an 

adoption paper and he will officially be ours! 

We've only had him for two days but everything seems to be going well. 

He's eating, playing,  a big snoozer and wants to play with Ginger. 

Which Ginger is still skeptical {lol} so fingers crossed it all works out!

Getting to know you....

Hello, friends!

I have to admit that this cold & dreary not to mention

over invited Winter in Ohio has me unmotivated to

write a blog post. My creativeness is still here but

needs some encouraging {aka sunshine & warm weather}.

With thinking what to write or share, I decided to do an 

updated About Me post. I've been seeing these templates

on Instagram stories so figured I'd bring them there.
