Life Update--I'm MARRIED!

Wow oh wow! It's been awhile since I posted on here.
I got married two weeks ago so wedding planning definitely took a toll
on my blog posts. I wanted to share outfit or cooking posts but my
mind was elsewhere so I apologize in advance :-)

Now, let me fill you in on the wedding...
Stephen & I got married on July 22nd, 2017 in my hometown.
Our venue was a gorgeous white barn in the middle of the country, the
location + venue was truly magical. We lucked out with a great place for an
even better price (compared to Cbus venues) so I was ecstatic.

The color scheme was mint green & coral and I loved how everything
turned out. picked those colors because I wanted a more toned down color
scheme--sometimes bright turquoise and coral can be too much/take away
from the bride. Each bridesmaid got to pick out their own dress which I
thought showed each of their personalities AND it was a huge money saver.
For the groomsmen, we went with light grey and mint ties.
Now for my dress....I knew I wanted a lace ivory/champagne colored dress,
with straps. When I walked into Wendy's Bridal and saw my dress on the
rack, I looked at my Mom and said "That's my dress, I just know it.!"
And I was right, it was my dream dress and it couldn't be any more perfect.

A lot of our decorations I got from Hobby Lobby, Joann's, Marshall's,
and Homegoods. Our invites/programs came from Vista Print, which
helped save money. Just remember that the more money you spend
on an invite/program--the more money you're wasting. People
will just throw it away--so try to budget some lower cost invites :-)
Speaking of budget saving tips--I/bridesmaids did our own hair
+ make-up and my jewelry came from Charming Charlies. There
are ways to save money for a wedding--you just have to dig deep!

All of our vendors were local--which was sentimental and helped
saved money too. They were great to work with--down to earth
folks who were willing to make your special day perfect.

Even though it sprinkled at our outdoor ceremony, everything
turned out wonderful. It's crazy to think you plan, plan, plan
and then poof---its allll over. Our wedding was amazing and
our preview pictures are even better!
