DIY Spring Project

Greetings!

Today I want to share with you a DIY project I stumbled upon
on Pinterest. I mean, how adorable are these carrot Easter eggs?!?
This project is very easy, so let's get started!

Items you will need:

{ 6 White Wooden Easter Eggs }
{ Orange Spray Paint }
{ Green Felt }
{ Scissors }
{ Craft Glue }
{ Egg container }

All items were purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Step One:

First you want to spray paint six of your wooden Easter eggs.
I made sure to do this outside and sprayed on top of an old bath towel.
I used three coats to achieve this shade of orange. Let dry for an hour.

Step Two:

Take your green felt and cut one inch strip off the side.
Then cut "fringes" or "slits" on the top portion of the strip.
Once you completed that, roll the strip up.

Step Three:

Once you've rolled the strip, leave a small area to glue
together. This will help keep your roll from unraveling.
Glue the bottom of your roll to the top of your egg.
Hold for 30 seconds.

Step Four:

Place in cardboard egg container and decorate!

Sincerely,
Ashley Nicole, xo
